Mike Mattison

For those of you who knew Mike Mattison of the Cable Shop, earlier last week he past from liver failure.

His wife called me and told me the news.

Mike had been suffering from cancer for awhile up there in OK City, but fate took over.

Seems like too many of our 1837th guys are passing young, Mike was around 50 years old.

Mike and I happened to be stationed again together at Osan from 1995-1996, and we spent a lot of time together socializing, and going on tours.

So long my Wire Branch friend, we will meet again in the after life.

I met Mike while I was stationed at Misawa, he was there doing a job for GD. Just in the short time i knew him I could tell he was a nice guy. I'm sure he will be missed.
